NDLC First Legislative Update Call

The North Dakota League of Cities first Legislative update call is Friday, January 15 at 2pm CST. Call in to hear discussion about bills that have been introduced, about bills that were heard last week, and about the bills that have hearings next week.

Beginning of Legislative Week 11

  Week 11 will be a big week at the North Dakota Legislature. At 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16th, the House and Senate Appropriations Committees will hear the revenue forecast from Moody's Analytics. This is the first step in the House and Senate adopting common revenue projections to work from. Once common revenue projections are adopted, the work on the state budget based on those revenue projections will occur. This is also a big week for hearings on bills that impact cities. On Tuesday, the Senate Taxation Committee is hearing two bills regarding infrastructure funding.
